17 December 2018
Over the past two weeks, leaders from around the world gathered in Katowice (Poland) to discuss the state of play and future of the international agreements on climate change.
The Copernicus programme provides policy-makers, industry and society with information to better understand climate change and to adapt to and mitigate its effects. In Poland, Copernicus was represented by its Climate Change Service (C3S) which supplies data on Essential Climate Variables useful for a wide range of business sectors such as agriculture, energy, water management, tourism and fisheries, among many others.
